Secret Engagement Photographer: How to Change Her Life Forever.

Start with a girl you love

Decide

Decide convictedly

Begin to plan

Grab a Tims

Start the worrying

Begin saving

No, really saving.

Wander a jewelry shop

Maybe another one.

Start scoping out places to do it.

Look on your lunch break.

Look between meetings.

Scour the house or Pinterest for ideas she's written or pinned.

Look for the "My Wedding Dream Book"

When she is out with her co-workers

Her friends.

No, her mother.

Write down 50 ideas.

On individual post it notes.

Find It.

Yes It.

Love it.

Revel in it for 30 minutes.

Realize her friend-of-a-friend's sister's boyfriend already did that.

Play trashcan basketball with your ideas.

Become overwhelmed.

Give up on the entire idea - almost.

Realize you need an ally.

Call her mother.

Call her sister.

Call her co-workers.

Ok not that one.

Call her best friend.

Gather their opinions and input.

Ok not that much input.

Call a venue.

Realize they are booked

For the next six months.

Break out into a sweat

Just thinking about it.

Put on your shopping list

"Buy a case of deodorant."

Bring up Google.

Type.

Type like a madman.

Think.

Wish for help.

Ponder a search phrase.

Put your fingers on the keyboard.

Mindlessly tap.

Type...

And delete.

And then you find it...

The phrase you've been looking for...

Proposal...Planner...Lida at Save My Date.

Call her.

Beg for help.

No Ask.  (Sounds less desperate right?)

Listen to their great ideas.

Hear about 1KWphotography and their secret engagement photography.

Go to their website.

Be impressed by their cool style and ideas. Actually...

Love it.  Write down their number.

Call them...

No, call them NOW!

Find that ally you've been looking for.

Tell them the ideas for your proposal.

Brainstorm together.

Have so many ideas now, it's hard to pick.

How about the theatre? The old Mill? Niagara Falls? CN Tower?

Don't tell me.  Save it for luck.  Tell Carl.

Develop a plan.  A schedule. A Bat Signal.

Breathe a sigh of relief.  Trust Carl.

He's done this before.

Promise.

Today's  the big day.

Watch the clock.  Try to sleep.

To Work.  Forget to eat.

Sweat.

Think you forgot something.

Check the ring in your pocket.

Seventy five times.

Talk to Carl and Lida.

Repeat their words in your head.

Breathe a sigh of relief - again.

Make it to the meet spot.

Wait for her friends to bring her.

Watch her face. Swallow and breathe - hard.

Attempt to make normal conversation.

Fail.

Abandon all other stalling techniques.

Lower to a knee.

Watch her tears fall,

The hand go over her mouth.

Attempt to remember everything you wanted to say.

Beg your brain to connect with your mouth,

Wait for her response anxiously.

Hear it.

No, feel it in her embrace.

The change in her life.

Forever.

It's just that easy.

Radiant: ra•di•ant - emitting rays of light; bright with joy, hope

It was like a rhythm or more like a dance.  Pose, smile, click.  Pose, smile, click.

Each one of them responding to our direction, kissing and embracing when asked.  Only a few moments ago they offered their vows, declared their love by saying I do and walked down the aisle holding hand and hand.  And now with our hesitation they express their love with radiance equal to the sun that was shining throughout the day.  And then, this was the moment...the pose that expressed with out a doubt why pictures can express a thousand words.

And that is when all a once someone said "That is beautiful".  Then we started the dance again with a new position and location...enter the radiant Estelle and Trevor.

Adorable - Delightful, lovable, and charming

It was a warm Saturday in July where we met in the parking lot at the TooGood pond in Markham. 4 of them exiting their car dressed in various blue and white striking yet moderate clothing suited for a an afternoon walk in the park. As the last passenger was lifted out of her car seat, all at once the focus was switched from themselves to the cutest little girl dressed in a pretty white and blue dress. "This is Mia", Argava her mother said introducing me to what was obvious the jewel of their family. She smiled briefly before focusing her attention to the camera in my hands and then back to her mom. The introductions continued as I met husband / dad Peyman and the proud grandparents Fred & Heidi. We started the photo session on a bridge overlooking a small river towards the Toogood park. When Mia wasn't looking through the bridge railings eagerly following the rush of the water below, she turned towards my lens with curious smiles while holding the hands of either her parents and/or grandparents.

Enter Argavan, Peyman, the Farjadpour grandparents and lastly introducing the energetic and precocious 2 year old Mia.
